Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive material and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities.

Line of Business Job Summary:
The Program Manager will join the Business Management & Controls team in Global Technology. The job is responsible for supporting the governance, oversight and execution of multi-year Global Technology programs within a highly regulated financial institution.  


Business Management & Controls team is responsible for regulatory and business controls, independent technical assessments, strategy, initiative planning, talent on demand, third party, quality assurance, portfolio governance and employee engagement for Global Technology. 

Responsibilities:

  • Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders
  • Monitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking of multi-year program milestones and statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against key performance indicators
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks, and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders
  • Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with program objectives
  • Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects, leading decision-making for effective resolution
  • Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes and make recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of program/portfolio management experience in highly regulated environments
  • Ability to establish, maintain and influence relationships with relevant stakeholders and lead/participate in cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives
  • Must have proven hands-on supporting large-scale technology programs from requirements through deployment, including timelines, scope, risk mitigation and adoption
  • Proven ability to support and drive end-to-end change adoption strategies
  • Strong executive presence with experience facing off with senior leaders
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills with ability to synthesize key messages for Senior Executives
  • Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal outcomes
  • Ability to consider diverse data inputs and provide decisive solutions
  • Knowledge of Agile/PMI methodologies
  • Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

$140,000.00 - $173,400.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
