Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

AMRS Event Capture / Notifications team within Assert Services primary functions are to receive in Corporate Action related event information (Voluntary / Optional Dividend & Mandatory) daily from multiple custodians across the globe including our external vendor S&P Global, scrubbing the data to create one golden source of information and create notifications of the event details within our internal system to then be distributed to our clients across multiple legal entities (MLPRO / BOFAS / MLPFS, etc.) that are holding that particular security.
Responsibilities:
- Performs set-up and maintenance of core data across client, account, instrument, and agreement data, and oversees data quality within key data platforms.
- Ensures transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Conducts daily monitoring of client trading activity across multiple markets, servicing clients' needs.
- Performs tasks accurately during high volume periods in a team environment.
- Identifies and flags potential risks in a timely manner.
- Perform functions related to voluntary corporate actions (mergers, exchanges, tender offers, subscriptions) for 10 different legal entities within Bank of America and across AMRS / EMEA and APAC.
- The analyst will be responsible for creating event notifications using multiple applications, partnering with our Corporate Actions Contact Center to ensure we provide platinum service to our FA's and clients within GWIM as well as our PB client base.
Required Qualifications:
- The role requires outstanding attention to detail, time management as deadlines can not be missed on notification of expiring events, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with our internal and external stakeholders and the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Presentable, confident and LOB / client focused.
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision after a period of time.
