Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing activities, including monthly payroll cycles, termination payments, and year‑end deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll vendors and internal/external auditors on payroll compliance, governance, and operational matters.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with payroll and benefits vendors, as well as HR partners across in‑scope countries.
  • Ensure operational compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal risk management policies.
  • Prepare payroll performance metrics, statutory reports, and other required management reporting.
  • Produce standard and ad‑hoc reports to support business and audit requirements.
  • Participate in payroll system testing, process enhancements, and operational readiness activities.
  • Contribute to global payroll projects and broader HR initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional HR experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience; exposure to the financial industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Asia payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in accounting or financial reporting is advantageous.
  • SAP Payroll experience preferred.
  • Proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing high work volumes and tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across varying levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively.
