Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence and innovation. In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

GMO supports End-to-end support for Global Markets sales, trading and underwriting business for Securities, OTC, and Traded Derivatives across multiple lines of business.

Job Description*

The individual will lead the GBS GMO Business support with highly skilled and experienced Automation Lead to drive efficiency and process improvement across our data and reporting workflows. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can architect scalable automation solutions while maintaining a high standard of data quality and presentation.

Responsibilities*

  • Copilot Integration & Adoption
    • Drive awareness and training on Copilot features across relevant teams.
    • Identify business processes where Copilot can add value and implement solutions.
  • Content & Workflow Automation
    • Use Copilot to draft documents, presentations, reports, and communication material.
    • Automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency through AI-powered solutions.
  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Utilize Copilot for summarizing data, generating insights, and supporting decision-making.
    • Ensure outputs are accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Maintain adherence to organizational security and compliance standards while using AI tools.
    • Monitor usage patterns and recommend best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Collect feedback from users and refine Copilot usage strategies.
    • Stay updated on new Copilot features and AI trends to maximize benefits.
  • Automation Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions for data acquisition, transformation, and reporting, significantly reducing manual effort and processing time.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current operational and reporting processes and recommend and implement automated solutions
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical findings and data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences using exceptional presentation skills

Requirements*

Education* - Minimum Graduate

Certifications – Process Excellence, PMP (Optional)

Experience Range* Overall experience of 13+ years

Foundational Skills*

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Copilot functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting AI-driven insights.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau for developing interactive, high-impact data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and stored procedure development.
  • Advanced proficiency with Power Query (including M language) for robust data extraction and transformation within the Microsoft ecosystem

Communication & Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey technical information to a business audience.
  • Excellent presentation skills; must be comfortable creating and delivering compelling presentations to senior management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in the use of the full MS Office Suite, with a focus on using Excel for advanced data handling and PowerPoint for professional report delivery.
  • A self-motivated, structured and logical thinker
  • Attention to detail, delivering high quality output
  • Strong assertiveness, listening, influencing and diplomacy skills

Desired Skills*

  • Experience in digital transformation or process automation.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Prior exposure to AI tools or data analytics platforms.
  • Should be self-driven, have the ability to handle pressure and deliver under stringent timelines. Should have high energy levels and confidence.
  • Self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic willing to work in a challenging environment
