In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Job Description

The GRA (Global Risk Analytics) DSTRO MDE team is responsible for assessing AI solutions implemented across the bank (built internally or externally) to identify any risks which may have unintended consequences. The role involves assistance in model development and model documentation to facilitate model validation by Model Risk Management (MRM), assistance in remediation of MRM’s RAIs (Required Action Items), model governance through intra-cycle monitoring, representation in internal and external audits, etc. Individual will be part of the Global Risk Analytics (GRA), will work in one of the sub functions which includes data quality Development, insights and model development, performing data mining, economic data research, data effort in an evolving data environment. This position must have strong technical skills, superb Business process analysis and interpersonal skills. The ability to extract and analyze data, understand and business requirements and translate into design, Develop enhance the codes. Individual should be Passionate about finding insights from large data sets working with diverse business groups. Able to work independently or in a team on complex projects.

Credit Risk Group - The Commitments process involves effectively capturing the credit lines in the system as per the Credit Approval Memorandum raised by Credit Risk Group. It serves as a interlink between transaction processing group and credit services department. Team also performs daily/weekly/monthly exceptions reporting to upstream/downstream processes.

IRM/CF Model risk management team covers all aspects of model validation for credit risk models, capital models, loss forecasting models, treasury and balance sheet models, wholesale models, PPNR models, operational risk models and all control function models including fraud models, AML models & other compliance risk models, across financial products and markets.

Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) - Individual will interact with Model Developers, Model Owners and Global Control Functions to prioritize and complete validation activities and to effectively maintain and oversee the model risk governance processes. The candidate is also expected to provide support to senior management during regulatory and audit exams and submission requirements.

Risk Model Risk Management team covers all aspects of model validation and model risk of market risk models developed by Global Risk Analytics for one or more asset classes. The team covers market risk models across asset classes of over-the-counter derivatives ranging from interest rates, FX, commodity, inflation, equity, credit and mortgage. The models covered by team includes Value at Risk, Risk Not in VaR, IRC/CRM, and CCAR models related to market risk models. Candidate will work closely with front office and Global Risk Analytics model developers, as well as Finance/PVG and other risk management groups.

Business Enablement team, MRM is responsible for the platform transformation initiative to strengthen the integration of the model validation process into the model lifecycle and further enable model-driven business. The team seeks a Quantitative Developer to build model validation platforms within strategic business infrastructures. The platforms are aimed to enhance the model testing capability and modernize the end-to-end process of model development, validation, and ongoing monitoring. The role will work closely with the model validation team and bank-wide model development organizations to deliver advanced solutions to streamline process, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational risk.

Enterprise Model Risk Management seeks a quantitative analyst in the Wholesale Model Risk team to conduct independent testing and review of models used for wholesale loss forecasting, risk rating scorecards, regulatory capital, and allowance including CECL and IFRS 9. These are high profile modeling areas in the bank, with continual senior management and regulatory focus.

Requirements

Education: B Tech./ MBA/ PGDM / Maters in Economics / Quantitative Technique & Economics/ Mathematics/ Supply Chain/ Operations/ Statistics/ Data Sciences

Location: Students should be willing to work in any locations namely – Mumbai, Chennai, Gurugram, Gandhinagar (GIFT), Hyderabad as per company requirement
