Process Overview*

Data, Analytics & Insights Technology (DAIT) provides customer, client, and operational data in support of Consumer, Business, Wealth, and Payments Technology with responsibility for a number of key data technologies. These include 16 Authorized Data Sources (ADS), marketing and insights platforms, advanced analytics Platforms, core client data and more. DAIT drives these capabilities with the goal of maximizing data assets to serve bank operations, meet regulatory requirements and personalize interactions with our customers across all channels. GBDART, a sub-function of DAIT, is the Bank’s strategic initiative to modernize data architecture and enable cloud-based, connected data experiences for analytics and insights across commercial banking.

Job Description*

The candidate must be Strong Java, J2EE experience with Micro Services Development on Cloud and On Prem Environments.  Experience to work on large scale enterprise applications using Java, Web services, Streaming, Realtime to work on large and complex systems in all phases of SDLC.  Good experience on creating and deploying services using scala and Java with CI/CD implementation. Good to have experience on Graph database with data modeling routines using RDF.

Responsibilities*

• Understand the business requirement and perform gap analysis.
• Strong experience on Micro Services using Java, Containers.
• Provide technical solution and develop SOAP/REST Web service using Java, Spring.

• Debugging of Code effective log management.
• Prepare unit test case and run through Junit.
• Deploy and manage code through CI/CD pipelines.
• Refractor existing code to enhance readability, performance, and general structure.
• Strong SQL databases experience and write complex SQL queries.
• Provide assistance to testing team, where necessary to aid in testing and test case creation.
• Provide guidance to team developers with design, implementation, and completion.
• Follow the agile methodology.
• Work with onsite team to determine needs and apply/customize existing technology to meet those requirements.
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
• Maintain and support multiple projects and deadlines.
• Document and report application specifics.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Provide weekend on call support during application releases.

• 08 Years To 15 Years.

Foundational Skills*

• 8-15 years Java development experience.
• Must have experience to drive the project Technically.
• Strong experience on Java, Spring; Web Services - SOAP/REST.
• Good to have experience on graph database, rdf.
• Exp with Application Servers such as WebLogic, JMS, EJB.
• JDBC / SQL Programming.
• SBT, Autosys, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Must be detailed oriented and a quick learner.
• Have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently as well as with teams in a proactive manor.
