Job Description:

Export & Agency Finance (“EAF") Americas Structurer. This role is to serve as an Associate or Analyst within the BofA Export & Agency Finance (“EAF”) team in New York. The focus will be on Americas deal origination and structuring utilizing the full suite of BofA partners at Export Credit Agencies, Multi-Lateral Agencies, and Development Finance Institutions to provide risk mitigation or funding for large scale CAPEX projects and investments.

The global EAF team is organized in New York, London, Paris, Seoul and Singapore and are currently looking to expand to meet our clients’ business needs. The candidate will need to have strong marketing and structuring skills to drive origination and execution of new EAF opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Relationship management with the Americas based Agencies for global opportunities will also be a key responsibility. Key roles will include:

  • Originate, structure, syndicate, and execute EAF related transactions in the Americas region

  • Help drive comprehensive strategy for Americas EAF and coordinate with global  team to partner for cross-border deal structuring with the global BofA client base

  • Travel within Region for deal origination and present innovative ideas for new financing opportunities

  • Present new financing proposals for approvals to internal BofA senior management

  • Coordinate with product partners to deliver joint pitches where appropriate (DCM, leasing, Markets, ABS, etc.

  • Identify product gaps/opportunities and drive innovative solutions to deliver industry-leading solutions to the broader BofA client base

  • Work closely with Corporate Banking, Wholesale Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners to  drive profitable, responsible growth while enforcing risk discipline/awareness and product suitability

  • In partnership with Marketing and Banking execs, increase visibility of the Bank’s EAF business by supporting execution of a comprehensive internal/external marketing campaign

  • Work with Trade Distribution and DCM partners to syndicate new transactions. Prepare internal credit committee materials and pricing analysis

  • Partner with Environmental and Social Governance group to identify priority transactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Cash flow modelling and pricing analysis preferred

  • Ability to work cohesively with a broader team globally

  • Basic orientation with EAF suite of products

  • Relationship management skills to manage broader client base

Desired Qualifications:

  • Additional language skills a plus (Spanish or Portuguese notably)

  • Strategic planning and management – ability to create and implement EAF origination initiatives

  • Basic understanding of export and project finance

  • Industry specific expertise

Required Educational Experience: BA degree or equivalent work experience

New York pay range:

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
