Role Description:

This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Inform and agree clients of cash and collateral movements daily, processing to minimize risk whilst providing high levels of client service
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to investigate and resolve both cash and security investigations
  • Investigate client margin queries.
  • Monitor the Margin requirements arising from the trading activities of our clients
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the day-to-day Collateral Process is conducted
  • Agree and co-ordinate required FX conversions for clients   
  • Understand and monitor risk across Bank of America Merrill Lynch portfolio of clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with both external and internal clients
  • Ownership of Key Performance Indicators including bank account reconciliation items, collateral fails and FX breaks
