Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing a portfolio of medium/large projects which enhance Finance systems, processes and solutions across several lines of business (LOB) in compliance with applicable Enterprise and Chief Financial Officer Group policies. Key responsibilities include working closely with the LOB, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan. Job expectations include performing day-to-day project activities and being actively involved in the execution of project deliverables.

Line of Business Job Description:

The CFO Change Management (Data Tower) function manages a portfolio of projects in support of the strategic data vison for the CFO Group.  The position works directly with senior management of the CFO Group to set strategic direction of the project(s) and works closely with Line of Business, Change Management, Data Management, and Technology partners to deliver projects on time, on scope, and on budget.  Program/Project specific work involves remediation of data quality issues impacting the soundness of Financial Regulatory Reporting (FRR), supporting data enhancements and adherence to emerging FRR, driving CFO adoption of Authorized Data Sources (ADS), and implementation of specialized tools & capabilities for Data Management SMEs to perform BAU.  Work efforts require management of organized work across core stakeholder, regular and concise updates to management, and risk & issue remediation through delivery of scope.

Responsibilities:

• Executes project deliverables while working with various partners and user community
• Completes required documentation, business analysis, testing, and operational readiness activities within project timelines
• Identifies upstream and downstream impacts associated with project related changes and/or decisions
• Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Control requirements
• Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology and Project Management

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Translate priorities and deliverables into actionable, structured project plans and communicate status
  • Coordinating with SMEs and stakeholders across teams to deliver solutions with appropriate signoff and risk oversight
  • Assist in the development and presentation of clear and concise deliverable presentations
  • Partner with stakeholders to schedule and facilitate routines to support overall delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, program management, project management office (PMO) or related fields of expertise
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office suite, namely PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience developing and facilitating concise and effective presentations, including the ability to explain results of complex analysis at a level that resonates across many different audiences (executive level vs working level)

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, project management office (PMO) or related fields of expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree or other completed higher education in field of Finance, Business, or Economics
  • Finance or business experience with product knowledge of banking and capital markets products (loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, etc.)
  • Knowledge of financial services including current regulatory environment
  • Ability to communicate and present technology concepts and solutions to non-technical executive management and business requirements to technologists
