Job Description:
Trade assistant and support for the AMRS Repo Trading desk. Responsible for trade capture, enrichment, reconciliation, and reporting. Liaison between trading, sales, and operations. Participates in new initiatives, systems, and process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance control. The associate should have a good working knowledge of various rates-centric fixed income products and their lifecycles especially the repo market. The associate will be expected to collaborate with our support partners to maintain, develop, and implement effective globally uniform workflow controls.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include trade capture and lifecycle event processing for the AMRS Repo trading desk. Ensure trades/positions are booked timely and accurately. Monitor e-trade activity to ensure trades are matched and sent for settlement processing. Compile EOD P&L summary, obtain sign off from trading and circulate to business heads. Other responsibilities include daily management of the Securities Open Market Activity (SOMA) which may include Sec Lending and Reverse Repo. Shows a strong interest in working closely with traders and sales to manage the production flow. Liaise with various business partners including trade flow management, settlements, business supervision, compliance, audit, etc. for daily flow as well as ad-hoc requests. Work with development and technology to ensure ongoing business and operation initiatives and needs are met. Ability to make impactful decisions while identifying critical impacts or outcomes. Ability to display strong attention to detail skills. Prioritize and manage time effectively.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
  • Basic to moderate excel skills required to manipulate and format trade data to upload into trading system

New York pay range:

$104,000.00 - $138,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
