Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview:

AML Data platform is the one stop shop of all the consumer, small business and mortgage transactions to give a holistic view of transactions along with the Channel, instrument and posting information. This information increases the ability of the bank to manage AML risk in a consistent fashion across all business lines with less cost possible.

Job Description:

Individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for the global tech functions of RFT.  He/she will need to collaborate with a large set of stakeholders in India and the US , independently work in projects with complete accountability, display a high degree of influencing skills , work closely with project teams, internal stakeholders in devising creative approaches to solving business problems and enhance team engagements.

Responsibilities

• Worked as a Tech Manager for J2EE Applications.
• Being able to participate actively in Design/Solution phases of the project.
• Knowledge on AML & Sanctions would be good
• Ability to work in multi technology project
• Knowledge on Java, Oracle/PL SQL & Unix Shell scripting
• Excellent oral/written communication skills / Project
• Organize and able to multi-task in a fast-paced Environment
• Highly motivated, able to work along with team and should help in problem/solving/analytical
• Share design level suggestions and architectural ideas
• Builds and manages J2EE teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
• Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
• Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
• Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
• Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
• Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment while helping to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
• Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with the product management team and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
• Certifications If Any: NA
• Experience Range:  15+ yrs

Foundational Skill: 

• J2EE, Oracle
• Team management for Java projects
• RBMS (Oracle, Teradata,) knowledge for development using SQL/PL SQL
• Performance management for teams
• Comfortable with Unix based systems & applications
• Experience with fully integrated SDLC development environments
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Experienced in technical design with a strong background/track record of working in a high performance environment
• Ability to understand business requirements and design software solutions
• Strong experience with business & customers
• Agile project management (SCRUM, SAFe) methodologies

• Desired Skills: - Knowledge of AML processes experience is desirable.
