Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing financial and statistical analyses, conducting research, and preparing support documentation and client presentation materials. Job expectations may include rotating through any of the multiple client management, credit management, and capital raising product areas across Global Corporate and Investment Banking in a sales function.

  • Work with and assist senior Structured Credit salespeople covering institutional investors, including Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Banks and Hedge Funds
  • Develop relationships with institutional investors so that client is comfortable with back-up coverage when lead sales coverage is out of the office
  • Facilitate secondary trades primarily in CLOs, CDOs, and Structured Credit Derivatives, and other structured products
  • Identify and highlight custom trade ideas for investors based on their mandates and styles
  • Highlight new issue CLO investment opportunities to clients


Responsibilities:

  • Conducts financial analyses and prepares support documentation for client presentations
  • Researches products and services in the market to gain insight into marketing and sales trends
  • Supports the strategy to build effective client relationships and provide customized products and services to clients
  • Participates in due diligence sessions, while communicating and interacting with deal team members
  • Assists with sales, trading, and hedging activities and documents key findings for the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting a markets product is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong client facing skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detailed execution
  • Outstanding communications skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently; highly motivated and self-driven
  • Comfortable in fast-paced and changing environment, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$70,000.00 - $115,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
