Job Description:
This job is responsible for distributing debt or equity products to an assigned account base. Key responsibilities include determining which products best meet client's needs and developing new approaches to meet client's needs and market dynamics. Job expectations may include studying market relationships and current market conditions to increase account/market penetration.

The Short Term Fixed Income sales team, within Bank of America Short Rates Sales, covers front end rates and credit products as well as repo financing. Sales people within the team are responsible for engaging and executing a range of trades across the front end, focusing on US treasury bills, agencies, commercial paper, and triparty repo.  Within the context of client selection among the bank’s most important FICC relationships, STFI sales is responsible for growing financing, front-end footprints, and market share with relevant money funds, municipal accounts, SMAs, sec lenders, and asset managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the management of client engagements, account management, complex deals, and/or emerging solution opportunities with clients
  • Analyzes market relationships and current market conditions to identify opportunities to increase account/market penetration
  • Provides financial services advice to clients to determine which products best meet their needs
  • Develops and executes strategies for increased account connectivity and production, in partnership with trading, other product areas, client management, and across the larger organization
  • Generates analysis for clients related to custom financial derivatives and quantitative investment strategies to assist clients in determining which products would achieve their business goals
  • Providing front end color, information about market movements, and insight on key front-end themes to clients
  • Learning the front-end and financing product set
  • Interacting with financing desks and PMs/traders within repo and short cash markets
  • Assisting trading desk on developing views for front end credit and rates market  
  • Continue to build and onboard strategic client relationships
  • Work to grow FICC sponsored platform and synthetic funding product offerings
  • Grow market share and client engagement across front end UST, Agy, CP markets
  • Assist senior sales in growing client business

New York pay range:

$150,000.00 - $225,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
