Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing a portfolio of medium/large projects which enhance Finance and Treasury systems, processes and solutions across several lines of business (LOB) in compliance with applicable Enterprise and Chief Financial Officer Group policies. Key responsibilities include working closely with the LOB, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan. Job expectations include performing day-to-day project activities and being actively involved in the execution of project deliverables.
Line of Business Job Description:
Managing the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, facilitate cross-team coordination with senior stakeholders and develop plans with business and support partners to sustain the change within the Liquidity & Capital function of Treasury. The role will require project management and business integration leadership spanning one to many work streams in a matrix environment. Given the enterprise nature of Treasury, the candidate will gain broad knowledge of and exposure to a wide range of the company's business units. The candidate will be required to work closely with other Treasury business functions, Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) and various other lines of business to successfully deliver the project.
Responsibilities:
Executes project deliverables while working with various partners and user community
Completes required documentation, business analysis, testing, and operational readiness activities within project timelines
Identifies upstream and downstream impacts associated with project related changes and/or decisions
Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Control requirements
Requires an understanding of Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Technology and Project Management
Effectively manage the end-to-end delivery of major Treasury initiatives (tech and non tech)
Understand relevant regulations and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Ensure proper documentation of business requirements, process flows, design and other business analysis deliverables
Establish and lead initiative routines
Partner with senior stakeholders across Treasury LOBs, Data Management, Technology, and other lines of business to ensure collaborative progression through the delivery lifecycle
Build and develop product expertise to support the initiative
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of project/portfolio management experience in the financial industry or a related field
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently with tight and changing deadlines
Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized and able to work on multiples tasks with limited supervision
Strong work ethic and willingness to take on new initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields or equivalent work experience
Exposure to the Liquidity & Capital function within Treasury at a large bank
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
