Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.

  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.

  • Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

  • Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

  • Support large scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets using data sourcing, data modelling and provisioning skills.

  • Execute database intensive development, data migrations, and conversions in distributed environments.

  • Work on performance tuning using Execution Plans of queries to meet SLAs.

  • Utilize SDLC, Agile, Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery, and change management to build transactional data domains.

  • Use knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts to automate ETL processes.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Supporting large scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets using data sourcing, data modelling and provisioning skills;

  • Executing database intensive development, data migrations, and conversions in distributed environments;

  • Working on performance tuning using Execution Plans of queries to meet SLAs;

  • Using knowledge of Unix and development of shell scripts to automate ETL processes.
