Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
  • Design and roll out analytical and technical tools for validations of new models and methodology.
  • Coordinate communications with internal or external contacts to clarify requirements, confirm progress of development, and train post deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn and encourage best practices among teammates.
  • Design and modify application systems, including custom scripts and data quality using scientific analysis and mathematical models to transform data and measure data quality and identify data quality breaks including mismatch data and value variations between different sources.
  • Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation for unit testing coverage.
  • Develop custom testing plans and support the execution of those plans.
  • Use Python, SQL, HTML, and Flask to build deep knowledge of business libraries and infrastructure.
  • Interface with upstream systems to secure the data needed in requirements.
  • Provide upgrades and support for existing application tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or related: and
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include at least 4 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Designing and modifying application systems, including custom scripts and data quality using scientific analysis and mathematical models to transform data and measure data quality and identify data quality breaks including mismatch data and value variations between different sources;
  • Developing or directing software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation for unit testing coverage;
  • Developing custom testing plans and support the execution of those plans;
  • Using Python, SQL, HTML, and Flask to build deep knowledge of business libraries and infrastructure;
  • Interfacing with upstream systems to secure the data needed in requirements; and,
  • Providing upgrades and support for existing application tools.
