Overview
CashPro® is Bank of America’s fully integrated multichannel experience that helps companies improve control, visibility, processing, and scale. CashPro® delivers this experience through multiple channels: CashPro® Online, the CashPro® App, CashPro® API and CashPro® Connect.
This Product Manger role is within the Digital Platforms and Channels team, responsible for CashPro® Online and Information Reporting for the EMEA markets.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of underlying technology infrastructure, external partners and utilities associated with CashPro® and Information Reporting in EMEA.
Comprehensive understanding of the product capability, including, user interface, middleware applications, database, payment processing engines, as well as all types of customisation preferences we offer to clients.
Detailed knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends within the channels and payment space.
Take initiative to develop new products and improve existing offerings based on industry trends and regulations, whilst factoring client feedback.
Partner with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels within the region and across the globe (Global Product Teams, Sales, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and external vendors) to bring to life their vision for the product in conjunction with the firm-wide strategies. Especially close engagement with technology and operations given the technical nature of the product set.
Provide support in business development efforts by assisting with Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and sales presentations and conduct client engagements in order to help effectively on-board and optimize their CashPro® experience.
Participate in product planning sessions and enhancement roadmap discussions by providing voice-of-the-client feedback, bring unique experiences and knowledge to the discussion.
Close collaboration with other product managers within the region and across the globe in subject matter areas, such as Payments and Receivables, Transactional Foreign Exchange, and Liquidity.
Ability to build business cases among competing priorities, to influence the product strategy both at the regional and global level, to drive global consistency, enhance capability, improve user experience, and facilitate operational efficiencies.
Lead on responses to internal audit and risk reviews, manage risk parameters and be responsible for regulatory reporting that is relevant to the product set; identify and remediate issues and regulatory change, via forum such as impact assessments and project implementation.
What we are looking for
Experience in a comparable business, ideally within a financial institution, or other payments business also considered, ideally in a technology-based product management capacity.
Advanced knowledge of bank treasury services product, operating and connectivity platforms, products and capabilities, and a strong understanding of client processes and back-office systems
Experience/appreciation for the complexities from global operations and legacy systems, with cross border and multi-jurisdictional exposure.
Experience in technology middleware and system design, as well as understanding the role technology plays within the payments landscape in terms of both innovations and regulation.
Experience in both technical and non-technical project management, meeting deadlines and pushing product development to market in a timely fashion.
Risk Manager who is keen attention to spotting risks and issues, as well as taking action to address or remediate systematically.
Comfortable setting priorities and working on longer-term initiatives, regular routines and dealing with ad hoc unforeseen demands both internally and externally.
Ability to voice up for the region; proficient in making business cases among competing priorities across different product teams, to influence team members both within region and globally in an effective way with an evidence-based approach.
Excellent communicator with both written and verbal communication, able to tailor approach to audiences; with the ability to translate context between technical and non-technical teams and be able to clearly communicate and influence clients and business partners while maintaining strong relationships.
