The Team:

The Business Support and EMEA Audit Reporting team supports the General Auditor for Global Markets (GM), Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB), Market Risk (MR) and International with the administration of the function and is also central to supporting the EMEA Regional Heads of Audit in meeting all of the local governance and regulatory reporting requirements. Reporting prepared by the team focusses on three key elements: summarised results of recent audit work and the impact on audit’s assessment of the control environment of each legal entity, metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of the management of audit issues and Corporate Audit’s performance, including delivery of the audit plan, staffing and quality assurance results.

Role Overview:

This role will report to the GM, GCIB, MR and International Corporate Audit COO and will work as part of a team to deliver the portfolio of monthly and quarterly reporting as well as providing ongoing and adhoc support to the GM, GCIB, MR and International Corporate Audit teams.

The Business Support and EMEA Reporting team have broad interaction across the function, including interaction with senior members of the Management team, and this role will provide the opportunity to learn about the international business activity of Bank of America, how Corporate Audit assesses risk and control effectiveness and how this is reported to Executive Management and Governance committees.

The Business Support and EMEA Reporting team consists of five team members in addition to the COO and is split between London, Dublin and the US. The team forms part of the wider GM, GCIB, MR and International Audit team which comprises of approximately 200 associates across the US, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Required Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills, including ability to extract, analyse and interpret data
  • Team player who is able to produce high quality, accurate output under tight timescales
  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships across the global Audit team
  • Organised and able to manage workload efficiently
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Appetite to continuously learn and develop
  • Degree level qualification required.

It would be an advantage to have a basic understanding of Internal Audit processes and legal entities or experience in financial or risk reporting.
