Job Description:


The Product and Strategy Exec is responsible for identifying and managing strategic initiatives designed to support and enhance the positioning of a line of business. Oversees Client and Business Management functions, Strategic Planning and Product Development. Serves as a liaison to other partners in the bank, including marketing, finance and compliance, in order to drive and implement initiatives. Establishes and maintains performance measures and metrics to ensure execution of business plan. Captures and analyses client data to drive innovative of new wealth management solutions. Ensures that operations are consistent in supporting the client strategy and the broader business strategy. Additionally, contribute the ongoing management and the development and ongoing strategy for Non-Traditional Assets. Co-ordinate/produce investment strategy thought leadership for GWIM investment strategy working with CIO office on Non-Traditional Assets. Ensures that operations are consistent in supporting the client strategy and the broader business strategy for Non-Traditional Assets

The Alternatives Investments team is positioned within the broader Investment Solution Group (ISG) organization supporting Wealth Management. The team is responsible for sourcing and managing product selection and investment experience across alternative investments such as hedge funds, managed futures funds, private equity funds, and non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs). The products supported by the team are offered to suitable private clients across both the Merrill and BofA Private Bank distribution channels through both Financial Advisors (FAs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs).

Responsibilities:

Works closely with the head of Alternative Investments and the Alternative Investments leadership team to continuously evaluate and refine strategy and priorities and ensure robust communication with the team and key stakeholders (internally and externally)

Develops senior executive ready communications and presentations that clearly outline strategic priorities.

Leads short- and long-term projects from framing strategic problems to executing analysis, driving insights, developing recommendations and implementation

Partner closely with AI Specialist team and directly with advisors to ensure alignment of alternative investment  business development.

Works across Alternative Investment team and partners to develop deliberate and consistent communication, branding and education strategy

Required Qualifications:


Highly collaborative and influential leader who can promote change outside of areas of direct influence

Strategic thinker who can build business case for change and drive execution of strategic priorities

Possess  executive communication skills

Ability to build compelling business cases on highly complex/technical topics that are senior executive ready

Effective management of projects involving uncertain factors impacting timelines, ability to deliver change at program level.


Experience in alternative investments and platforms

High degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications: power point, Excel/pivot tables, Tableau etc.
 

Possess  SIE, 7 and 66 licenses (or equivalent), or ability to receive them within 120 days.
 

Desired Qualifications:

10 plus years of experience at a strategy consulting firm or strategy function within a large company

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

New York pay range:

$202,500.00 - $307,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
