Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Global Information Security (GIS) – Identity & Authentication Services (IAS) team is responsible for developing and supporting Identity and Access Management application and infrastructure services for Bank of America. IAS team manages SSO using PingAccsess, Ping Federate, multi factor authentication, secure credentials, access and entitlements for thousands of applications etc.

Job Description*

Individual will be part of the GIS – Identity & Authentication Services team and will work on various risk and governance deliverables coming through RISE tool or any other ad hoc governance deliverables as requested by CIO team. These deliverables may belong to various Programs, e.g., Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Business Continuity, Information Security, Audit Issues, etc.


  • Risk team member goes through deliverable description in RISE tool, education material in Program sites, attend Program office hours and Centralized App Communications App Owners Forum Weekly Meeting.
  • Host or attend multiple daily, weekly, and monthly touch point meetings to identify delays in deliverables and escalate as required to the management team.
  • Follow up with App Managers, SMEs, Program contacts, GIS Partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Technology Infrastructure, application managers and risk lead, communicating remediation progress
  • Support vulnerability management activities and support remediation as needed, monitoring observations in Continuous Monitoring (CM) tool (vulnerability and remediation), and provide current statuses as requested
  • Manages all surveys, audit questionnaires, quality assurance, business continuity and all the other mandatory deliverables required to maintain all of our AITs in good standing.
  • Identify compliance requirement changes early enough to help app teams to plan and meet the new deliverables
  • Work closely with the Application Manager, upstream and downstream application teams and other partners in identifying end to end data lineage and/or root causes of problems.
  • Supporting the implementation of Bank of America’s Risk Framework and enables strong operational risk management – identify, escalate and debate risks across responsible business units.

Foundational skills*

  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate technical and business-related concepts to people of diverse cultural backgrounds, from many disciplines, and with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Well versed with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • 4 to 6 years in a related field, preferably in Banking. Regulatory experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated project management and consulting skills, coupled with strong client / service orientation.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Moderate to in-depth knowledge in any of the following information security domains:

Application Security

Identity & Access Management

Third Party Security



Threat and Vulnerability Management

Data Protection

Policy Program Management

End User

Monitoring, Response and Forensics

Desired skills*

  • CISA certified
  • Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, and Agile methodology
