About the Role

The MS will be focused on the healthcare industry in general, but will be specifically working with large hospital, health system, healthcare insurance providers and pharma clients of the bank, and will need to have a deep understanding of healthcare payments, revenue cycle and the HIS, EMR/EHR and revenue cycle systems that those clients utilize to power their businesses.  Regional/LOB aligned associates will need to have a deep and wide understanding of the healthcare industry, payment ecosystem, merchant and transaction processing and how to match our solutions against the needs of our clients. 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

* The MS's primary objective is to drive sales of our core healthcare payment solutions, including the AxiaMed payment platform and other payment related solutions. 

* Serve as the primary technical consultant for healthcare payment and revenue cycle to both internal sales and relationship management teams and their clients. 

* Through the client engagement process, the MS will provide consultative services to highly complex processing configurations that result in architected solutions utilizing the AxiaMed payment platform and other healthcare solutions which afford clients the ability to process payments in the most optimal and efficient way possible. 

* Bridges knowledge gaps within platform configurations, associated product, feature, functionality, application, and usability while providing critical feedback to the healthcare strategy and product organization.

Skills and Experience required

* Extensive knowledge of as well as experience and intellectual curiosity in healthcare payments and payment technology solutions

* Healthcare treasury expertise a plus

* 5+ years of experience in services in or to the healthcare industry related to revenue cycle management or patients payments

* 5+ years of direct sales experience, particularly with C-suite level and technical sales

* 2-5+ years of merchant processing industry experience preferred

* Expert knowledge of healthcare software system (EHR/EMR, PMS, other payment and revenue cycle application) payment interfaces

* Strong analytical and organizational skills

* Ability to cultivate and strengthen client relationships with senior business and IT staff member

* Ability to technically consult with C-level executives within client environment

* Demonstrated experience working with 3rd party VAR’s and software platforms

* Understanding of healthcare related payment applications, competition/competitive landscape in the payments industry particularly in healthcare, EHR/EMR practice management systems and revenue cycle solutions), data security (PCI), pay-provider-patient payment workflows and interdependencies, etc.

Desired Experience 

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

* Knowledge and experience in payments, merchant services, or related industry sales and consultation.

* Consultative mindset, with the ability to develop client and business strategies to maximize growth and development.

* Technologically savvy; comfortable with tablet and cloud-based solutions.

* People management background in a sales and/or service environment 

* Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of personal and team goals.

* Demonstrated effective communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements

* Works in varied environments involving sitting and standing. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile, airplane, train. Ability to utilize a tablet and telephone prolonged periods of time. Ability to visit and move around at client sites including the ability to maneuver in a variety of places. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that may weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.

Colorado pay and benefits information

Colorado pay range:

$112,700 - $155,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
