Portfolio Implementation Manager Job Description

Bank of America Private Bank is looking for an individual to join the Portfolio Implementation Team.  The candidate must be able to converse intelligently with clients, portfolio managers, and traders.  The role includes some client contact as well as interaction with all areas of the Private Bank (compliance, operations, trading, and portfolio management).

Responsibilities

  • Represent Private Bank in a client-facing role.  This includes accepting trade requests and following orders through from input to settlement.
  • Manage books of accounts to an internally managed CIO suite of equity and multi-asset class model portfolios, including trade aggregation, account modeling, and day-to-day management.
  • Transition accounts over time to target internally managed CIO equity and multi-asset class models.
  • Administer the flow of trade error corrections from discovery through settlement.
  • Maintain Private Bank equity, mutual fund, ETF, alternative investment, and fixed income approved lists.
  • Manage redemption requests for previously issued structured note products.

Qualifications

  • BA desired:  Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of Capital Markets experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of financial markets including: equity, fixed income, option, ETF, and structured products
  • Knowledge of market data and analytics systems (Bloomberg, Factset) and Microsoft Office
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think through and resolve problems prior to implementation
  • Skilled in identifying potential risks and acting to mitigate impacts
  • Professional demeanor
