Access Architect- Secure Logix

LOB Job Description:

Work with Bank Architecture and Engineering to help maintain specific multiyear technology roadmaps aligned with business unit plans in the areas of; Sonus/Ribbon SBC (9k, 7k, 2k), SecureLogix, Intrado E911, SIP and Session Management, LAN/WAN, VoIP, with integrations to products such as Avaya, Cisco, and Genesys.

  • Engage in strategic design and architecture development for Bank core telecommunication infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain specific architecture blueprints and design standards  (in an engineering repository)
  • Develop testing strategy and technology certification plan
  • Certify project teams’ compliance in accordance with the toll gate process entry and exit criteria
  • Responsible for tracking emerging technologies and conducting proof-of-concepts for those with applicability to BAC
  • Develop and  maintain a technology radar based on primary and secondary research

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of session border controllers; Sonus/Ribbon GSX/7k Session Border Controller and SIP/TDM Trunking.
    • Knowledge of SIP, RTP/RTCP, ISDN, H.323, H248, MGCP, codecs is required.
    • Experience with QoS configurations, jitter, diagnosing and tuning QoS and performing bandwidth analysis.
  • Extensive PBX/ACD experience, working knowledge of CTI, IVR, call flows, vectors, and adjunct routing, system architecture, design principles and implementation.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, switches and routers.
  • Ability to thoroughly review, understand and interpret technology updates for applicability in the environment we support
  • Excellent customer service skills including reporting, organization, written and oral communication and task prioritization.
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-directed individual.
  • 10+ Years telecommunications experience.
  • Demonstrated work experience in similar capacity as an architect for large enterprise network.
  • Experience participating in cross-functional teams and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond under pressure
  • Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
