VP - FICC e-Trading Cross-Product Specialist

Description

  • Seeking an established mid-level candidate to join the FICC E-Trading & Market Structure team.  This horizontal team works within and across all FICC lines of business as well as with functional partners including technology, QSG, legal, compliance, risk, etc.  The team is responsible for analyzing and promoting market structure developments and e-trading strategy, supporting product development, and creating relevant applications and visualizations of transaction and inquiry data.   

Candidate will work collaboratively internally and externally to further key market structure initiatives, including:

  • Development and oversight of Market Structure publications, a key differentiator for our franchise with clients
  • Day-to-day oversight of client bilateral connectivity initiatives to establish direct execution of bonds with the firm’s largest clients  
  • Coordination of cross-FICC commercial initiatives and new vendor partnerships

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • FICC product experience/knowledge (Rates, Credit, Mortgages, FX)

Additional experience:

  • BSc or equivalent level degree educated
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail necessary
  • Understanding of FICC electronic trading platforms/protocols and familiarity with bond/swap products is beneficial
  • Must work well in a collaborative team environment; have ability to learn quickly and be able to take on new responsibilities. 
  • Candidate must demonstrate a deep interest in market dynamics and evolution
