Job Description:

Position Summary

This role is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution architecture for the defined domain (Business, Application, Data and Technology) which aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating systems impacts, determining the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, assisting with end-to-end solution design where needed, defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features. This role ensures the solution is fit for purpose and use by working with stakeholders, vendors/service providers, and evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions.

•-Work across business and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision and evolve it to an emerging backlog
•-Consult with the business regarding problems and technology to understand challenges and find creative solutions through their knowledge of the domain, practical experiments and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
•-Lead rapid shaping of high-level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements; ensure architecture is flexible and modular and designed to adapt easily
•-Utilize the defined best practices, templates and documentation to create architectural designs; suggest improvements to best practices and templates through practical knowledge
•-Work with Product Managers/Owners to plan and prioritize technology-focused backlog items for the architecture runway to enable business epic/features
•-Clarify the architecture and assist with system design (where needed) for the development teams to support implementation, and provide solution options to resolve any architectural impediments
•-Perform design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a solution are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability)
•-Educate team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies and best practices to create innovate solutions
•-Identifies risk/dependencies and quantified the impact it has on the business/technology, and what controls are used to resolve
•-Presents their own point of view with a clear rationale, facts and figures; clearly displaying how their course of action is superior to other options by using facts/evidence to support

Required Skills

•-5-7 years of middleware and application design experience of significant components within an application. Performed Code Reviews.
•-3+ years developing manual and automated test plans within an application. Performed test plan reviews.
•-2+ years of MuleSoft 4.0 and higher experience
•-Subject matter expert on bank standards and best practices and ensures CICD and configures tools and processes to support DevOps strategies

•-Advanced experiences with Microsoft Visio
•-Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
•-Strong leadership, communication, writing and relationship skills across varied levels of influence
•-Excellent analytical and logic skills
•-Proven ability to partner with both technology and business partners

•-Strong with system integrations
•-Strong with API and service specifications
