Job Description

The Private Wealth Relationship Manager-Wealth Planning will work closely with a Private Wealth Advisor or Private Wealth Advisor Team and partner with Wealth Strategists assigned to the market to further develop and service their client base by providing wealth planning consultative support. The PWRM-Wealth Planning will help the PWA/team develop wealth transfer and estate planning for the UHNW clients ($25mm+) to enhance client relationships, expand wallet share and acquire new clients.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of Estate and Gift Taxes, Philanthropy, Trust Structures, Insurance, Income Tax Planning, and Investment Management. This includes a comprehensive understanding of Merrill Lynch’s suite of solutions, platforms, and initiatives.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Requirements:

  • Either Series 7 and 66 licenses or Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses
  • JD is not required but preferred
  • All state licenses in support of FA or FA Team’s client base
  • All product licenses in support of FA or FA Team’s client base
  • Obtain and/or maintain at least one firm approved designation
  • Safe Act Registered
