What you’ll do:
Work within and across various teams within Global Technology to manage bank’s core infrastructure in one of the following teams:
You will take responsibility for deploying and supporting core infrastructure that underpins the daily operations of the entire bank; from networks, hosting, cloud platforms and mainframe. You will also work with various platform teams and Business Technology Groups to help build out automated processes.
Program Overview
The Technology Summer Analyst Program offers non-software development roles in Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization. This organization meets the needs of Bank of America’s clients and employees by working alongside development technology teams to design, implement and support cutting-edge applications and infrastructure. Our CTI teams provide core services such as network, cloud and compute capacity, enterprise storage and databases used to host trading applications, payment systems, mobile applications, and other end-user applications. Additionally, our CTI teams also provide non-technical services such as business management, infrastructure delivery project management, and business risk control.
The Summer program is a 10-week program designed to provide Summer Analysts with a unique opportunity to gain an exposure to life at Bank of America and also make significant contributions to the team. The Summer program begins with an orientation and induction to the firm. Summer Analysts are given a true associate experience, as assignments mirror full-time responsibility and include goal-setting and a formal review process.

Potential Role opportunities in Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI):
Infrastructure Engineer: Provides support to design, build and run day to day operations for the Bank’s physical and virtual infrastructure components: server, storage, database, networks and data centers. This individual is viewed as a technology domain subject matter expert (SME); is able to provide technology solutions that comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards. The role will also be engaging with and responsible for new projects, lights on system upgrades, ongoing BAU and advanced support for incidents and problems management
Cloud Solutions Engineer: Provide secure, reliable and cloud solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for operations, development, and architecture of our cloud infrastructure. This individual is expected to ensure CSO’s operational processes, from incident response to threat intelligence, are optimized for cloud environments and adhere to strategic direction, with a focus on leveraging cloud native secure capabilities
Service Delivery (Project Management): Liaise with cross-functional infrastructure teams to manage the delivery infrastructure work for various initiatives and projects within technical infrastructure space. This individual will also remediate, escalate, coordinate, and resolve issues/escalations and prioritize work efforts as needed while ensuring proper initiative funding levels are maintained. In support of key infrastructure strategies, this role is responsible for engaging teams to ensuring awareness, planning and implementation of key objectives while adhering to our risk governance.
Network Engineer: Ability to troubleshoot complex network security and routing issues in a large multi-vendor environment. This individual is expected to have knowledge on network communication principles, network standards and network security practices. Your BAU will involve network analytics through packet capture, configuring and troubleshooting cisco switches and managing routing protocols. This role would also involve network monitoring, load-balancing and working with firewall technology.
