Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading a team supporting data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. Key responsibilities include managing the review and analysis of portfolio trends, directing the development of more complex databases or queries to extract data, and supporting the production of data for internal and external reporting needs. Job expectations include working with Technology to implement changes necessary to support ongoing data needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops, executes, and enhances reporting to allow Risk and business partners to effectively identify and manage risk

  • Manages the analysis of trends and oversees the data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics to ensure alignment with business strategies

  • Serves as a liaison between the data, technology, and reporting teams in support of strategic initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business to ensure company goals are met

  • Manages database production processes and performance reports for senior management, using data mining and other advanced analytical techniques to aggregate data

  • Responds to complex ad-hoc requests for information from both internal and external parties

  • Leads cross-functional strategic efforts to remediate data quality issues

  • Provides oversight of relevant systems and assures controls are operating effectively by monitoring outputs

Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation. 

Team Overview of the Role
Provide project and program management discipline to the SERA Operations team, spanning wholesale loss forecasting, scenario generation, operational risk, Data, Opex and GCP & Infrastructure functions. Selected candidate will work with subject matter experts, model developers and technology developers to manage several program work streams and provide program management governance to the team’s various deliverables. 
 
Position Overview
Role would require project management of all operation functions within SERA, in support of ongoing BAU deliverables, OpEx initiatives and associated governance activities. The selected candidate would be responsible for managing and reporting cross stream project deliveries, creating materials, Program Steering and Program updates, issue logs, meeting minutes for project reporting and setting up program governance routines within SERA Operations and with its respective stakeholders. The individual will also be supporting all governance activities tied to our operation’s team book of work, as well as getting involved in ad/hoc technical build out and requests.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

  • 5+ year experience in managing projects across multiple teams and multiple stakeholders

  • 5+ year experience creating project documentation using Power Point, Excel, Visio and JIRA

  • 5+ year experience in verbal presentation for project updates and managing project meetings

  • 5+ year experience in creating high quality materials for executive reporting

  • 5+ year experience in creating materials for high quality project updates for Program steering

  • 5+ year experience in JIRA Kanban and other reporting

  • 5+ year experience in Tableau or any other reporting tool

  • 5+ year experience in managing technology projects

  • 5+ year experience in banking or financial industry

 
Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in writing SQL/database queries

  • Exposure to multiple banking domains/ products

  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree in STEM discipline

  • Project Management experience and proficiency in JIRA

New Jersey pay range:

$107,300.00 - $174,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
