Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • Design extensible modules and ensure that code is cleanly written, testable and maintainable by others.
  • Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability /ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
  • Develop frameworks and core services to enable real-time order execution, auto quoting, promoting disciplines and principles to standardize and re-use.
  • Participate and guiding team in estimating work necessary to realize a store/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Code solutions and unit testing to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Design, develop, modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
  • Design, develop, maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
  • Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Automate manual release activities.
  • Design, automate, and maintain large scale, enterprise-wide applications using Core Java, SpringBoot, and SQL with domain knowledge in trading systems.
  • Implement and extend multi-threaded object-oriented systems that incorporate message driven architecture, low latency constraints, and rules based workflows that can handle multiple data inputs to address automated trading settlement.
  • Adapt and design new APIs and re-usable modules allow external and internal systems to interact and exchange real-time information in a scaled way.
  • Engineer and design continuous integration, continuous deployment, using build tools, version control and test-driven development tools.
  • Design test driven automation frameworks using middleware technologies, and real-time messaging frameworks.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, CIS, MIS, or related: and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide applications using Core Java, SpringBoot, and SQL with domain knowledge in trading systems;
  • Implementing and extending multi-threaded object-oriented systems that incorporate message driven architecture, low latency constraints, and rules based workflows that can handle multiple data inputs to address automated trading settlement;

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$216,500.00 - $226,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
