Process Overview

Wholesale Banking and Credit Technology WCBT comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe.  The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develop applications to support the Wholesale loans.

Job Description

This individual will be part of a development team primarily focused on design and development of shared services platform on payment processing. This individual will work closely with application engineering lead, product owners ,  lead developers and operational partners to contribute to platform engineering enhancements, and day-to-day working of the platform.

·         Platform/application management and performance-tuning.

·         Ability to conduct code reviews.

·         Design consultation - Alignments with the Enterprise Architectural standards

·         Data Modeler - Models the data, ensures that the DB integrity is maintained

·         DevOps CI/CD alignments.

·         Ensures that the pod's design has been reviewed at the design forum and approved.

·         Design review or control for platform enhancements and optimization 

·         Tasks for CIO team related to SIAI, RIAI, and NPT when it involves platform design 

·         Continuously work to keep the Architectural Runway Green and Healthy

·         Streamlining the CI/CD pipelines deployment process for Release Management efficiency and relentless improvement. 

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in Mulesoft Anypoint platform development.
• Hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring , JMS.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL for Oracle DB .
• Familiar with CICD tools:  Maven, BitBucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible, JIRA.
• Proficient with IBM MQ, IBM Connect:Direct and SFTP protocols.
• Proficient in Weglogic/Websphere/Jboss.
• Proficient in Junit, Cucumber.
• Good knowledge of Integration Patterns, SOA concepts, REST services and REST API standards.
• Knowledge of lean Agile and CICD is desirable.Must have experience being part of a Scrum team and familiar with Agile routines.
• Hands on experience in banking payment system and clearing integrations.
• Experienced in message standards such as SWIFT & ISO2022.
• Good knowledge of APAC Low Value, High Value, Real-Time Payment Clearing systems such as India NEFT/RTGS/UPI, MEPS, G3, HKICL, Indonesia SKN, Indonesia RTGS, etc.
• Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Requirements*

 Education- Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Computers Science on any equivalent degree

 Certifications If Any- NA

 Experience Range- 5- 7 years

Foundational Skills
