Job Description:
This job is responsible for handling medium to large projects for a Line of Business that may be regional or national in scope. Key responsibilities include recommending policy and procedural changes and developing measurement criteria and project plans such as cost and resource estimates. Job expectations include working with senior management to evaluate current methods and develop strategies to implement change and improvements brought about by the project.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes current state processes, existing operations, procedures, and workflows and discovers pain points to develop approaches for potential solutions, including building a business case for improvement recommendations and driving the execution of implementation. Coordinates with the business to support defined project tasks, tracking deliverables and their statuses, and measuring progress against ongoing success measures. Supports partnerships with operations management to create project impact and provide direction and guidance to internal teams. Establishes and maintains relationships with relevant client stakeholders to communicate updates and escalate issues. Performs risk management activities to minimize project risks. Assists with creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Leverages business knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and supports change execution.
LOB - UAT Tester Job Description:
• Drive strategic analysis and impact assessments, oversees definition and prioritization of requirements and drives execution to deliver against business goals and objectives
• May manage medium/large scale projects from initiation through implementation on cross functional initiatives spanning business lines
• Develop scenarios and test scripts to validate application integration points
• Coordinates UAT testing across project and LOB teams
• Responsible for managing testing schedules and environment availability in partnership with technology
• Log defects, validate associated fixes, and conduct retest
• Represents UAT testing during defect and senior leader meetings
• Work closely with project teams to resolve issues identified during testing
• Ensure high quality standards are upheld
• All other duties as assigned or directed
LOB - UAT Tester – Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of testing/UAT experience
• Experience writing and executing test scripts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency with SharePoint, Excel, Word and Power Point
• Technically adept and able to learn new/complex order entry system
• Must be a motivated, self-starter who can independently handle tasks with little oversight
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential data with utmost discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization
• Experience with defect reporting and tracking
• Financial Services industry experience
• Experience with a workflow application
• Software testing experience such as Octane and JIRA applications is a plus
