The Team:

Global Vendor Finance (GVF) provides customer financing programs for capital equipment manufacturers, software developers, distributors, and service providers, working primarily with clients of Global Commercial Banking and the Global Investment Banking group that have revenues in excess of $200MM.  GVF's wide variety of program structures and services help our clients differentiate themselves from competitors, create incremental sales, enhance cash flows, and increase market share and profits.  GVF handles transactions ranging from $5,000 to $25 million plus. Job Description:

The Credit Underwriter position sits within a team of credit professionals supporting the Global Leasing International platform that includes sales origination teams within the Global Vendor Finance (GVF) markets and requires a professional with EMEA regional experience. The position will provide credit support to the GVF Credit Underwriters located in London, and will include basic underwriting, and working with other Bank of America colleagues involved in credit, risk and/or relationship management.

Partnering with the GVF Credit Underwriters, the individual will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end credit management process. Responsibilities include data verification of new/existing deals on source systems; posting of documents to electronic credit file; spreading financials; gathering underwriting information and completing basic underwriting, maintaining internal files and ensuring systems and data integrity. The ability to efficiently multi-task and be decisive are important keys to success. Part of responsibilities may include interpreting/analyzing financial statements and documentation in one of the major European languages (i.e. German, French, Spanish or Italian).

What we are looking for:

• Undergraduate business degree desired (accounting and finance)

• Exceptional organisational skills (time management, multi-tasking, prioritization)

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

• The ability to work effectively, both as a team member and independently

• Language skills are desirable (ability to interpret financial statements and review documentation in language) – German, Spanish, Italian or French

• Demonstrated customer service skills

• Results oriented, is able to accomplish objectives in a specified timeframe           

• Travel - 10%
