Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing multiple operations segments or divisions for a site, region, product line, or business group within the bank's internal operations. Key responsibilities include resolving broad operational issues, ensuring compliance with policies, and leading implementation of opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency. Job expectations include coordinating activities and processes with Lines of Business and other operations segments to set strategic direction and promote ideas, and managing two or more levels of managers.
This job is responsible for playing a key role in aligning Line of Business (LOB) initiatives with enterprise strategy, driving operational excellence, and enabling scalable, data-driven solutions across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise transformation efforts, support Gen AI governance, and shape the future of how we deliver value to clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees leadership development and execution to drive Operational Excellence
- Manages the overall budget and expenses and performs reporting and forecasting for a segment or unit to achieve identified operational goals
- Manages the development of procedures to enhance unit and/or product-related activities while overseeing budget and expense management, reporting, and forecasting for designated areas
- Develops strategies to improve and grow current processes of a unit or product, leveraging data, metric, and key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness
- Drives alignment of bank priorities and strategies to employee metrics and goals, evaluates employee progress, and provides interventions as needed to recognize, encourage, and improve team and business performance to support an inclusive work environment
- Implements and enables an enhanced risk framework by establishing a proactive risk management culture
- Business Process Integration
- Lead the development of OpEx business cases to support enterprise integration of GenAI initiatives.
- Facilitate client journey mapping to identify and improve key touchpoints.
- Define and implement enterprise-wide document taxonomy standards.
- Evaluate critical data fields and assess their impact on strategic processes.
- Conduct SPI and data strategy assessments to inform implementation sequencing.
- LOB Enablement & Delivery
- Partner with LOBs to drive success management and readiness planning.
- Support agile software delivery and Oversee software testing and platform enablement (STP/HITL).
- Coordinate LOB training, business control, and GCOR integration.
- Establish feedback loops between Operations and Technology (HITL).
- Translate enterprise data strategy (CDL to LOB) into actionable plans.
- Develop LOB control reporting and OpEx business outcome scorecards.
- Gen AI Governance & Control
- Prepare for AI Council engagements and ensure governance readiness.
- Manage production incident reporting and business continuity planning for AI-enabled processes.

Required Qualifications:
- 10 years in business process integration, operations, or technology enablement
- Demonstrated success with defining strategic goals and developing and executing related tactics
- Experience collaborating well and influencing senior executives
- Experience with enterprise data strategy and control reporting
- Background in agile delivery and software testing
- Exposure to AI governance and business continuity planning
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Expertise in agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycle
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in data governance, taxonomy, and lineage
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change
- Skilled in incident management and resiliency planning
- Familiarity with Gen AI governance frameworks
