Position Summary

Quality Assurance Engineer assisting with testing and validation of FX execution app suite

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional QA analytical skills with emphasis on test plan creation, planning, and execution
  • 6+ years of experience with QA testing of enterprise systems
  • Exceptional manual and automation testing skills
  • Knowledge or experience of agile development (primarily SCRUM) and continuous integration
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • Understanding of Messaging Middleware concepts, usage, and application
  • Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of database and Unix systems.
  • Candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of contemporary development processes, build environments and testing tools
  • Comfortable in communicating with business users

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience creating automated tests (i.e. Cucumber, Selenium, custom frameworks)
  • Knowledge or experience using BDD tests and/or Cucumber testing framework.
  • Experience with testing automation via UFT
  • Experience with UNIX systems and understanding shell-based log file review commands
  • Experience working in a front office e-trading platform development team
  • Experience working with global development teams
  • Electronic trading application testing skills
  • Experience testing large scale order execution and trading platforms

Illinois pay and benefits information

Illinois pay range:

$89,700.00 - $128,100.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
