Job Description:

As an active team member, analysts assist bankers in capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. Analysts/Associates are called on to:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and conduct bond and derivative structuring
  • Conduct credit and valuation analyses
  • Perform comprehensive and in-depth client and credit research
  • Prepare presentation and other materials for clients
  • Interact with sales, underwriting and trading professionals
  • Communicate and interact with deal team members and client

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, strategic and creative thinking and distinguished written and oral communications skills. Analysts are required to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Some common driving characteristics we look for assertiveness, attention to detail, exceptional academic achievement, initiative, team focus, self-confidence, strategic and creative thinking capabilities, strong work ethic, and strong communication skills. Strong quantitative skills and computer/software skills are a must.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant experience within Global Markets, Public Finance experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid quantitative and analytical skills
  • The ability to work independently and function as part of a team
  • The ability to think strategically
  • Able to clearly communicate complex business concepts both verbally and in written form.

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$110,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
