Responsible for the processing of US and International Mandatory Corporate Action event types on behalf BOFAS/MLPFS client tiers & trading desks. Role includes but not limited to:  identifying, reviewing and analyzing all Corporate Action event information related to Mandatory & Redemption events; timely and accurate completion of payments; reconcilation and clearance of ledger balances and breaks; Interface with DTCC, International Custodians, Depots, Transfer Agents and external counterparties/ Brokers. 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Banking / Financial Services Industry; Asset Services or Operations experience a plus.

  • Minimum Years Of Experience 2 years

  • Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience

  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment

  • Timely response to internal/external queries regarding mandatory event processing

  • Works effectively with others by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships built on mutual respect and trust

  • Escalate issues that demonstrate risk to customers/clients and/or the company

  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate

  • Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution of breaks, payables and receivables

  • Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives

  • Seeks to advance knowledge and improve skills

Enterprise position overview: This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
