Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description

Within GMOT, Derivatives & FX Technology is responsible for handling confirmations, clearing, settlement, regulatory reporting, fees, reporting and messaging for all Derivatives and FX asset classes.

The Global Markets NFRR Analytics system part of Derivatives & FX BO space Provides Management Information & Analytics reporting, for FO Trade Control, TR Operations, on the Bank’s NFRR, as processed by the Insight (#70363) & Cirrus (#50221) applications. It reports on global transaction and trade reporting regulations

As a Team Member, the associate will be working in Hyderabad in an Agile Team that is responsible for design and development in Reg Analytics application.

Responsibilities

The job primarily involves

  • Application design and development.
  • Coding in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • Building ETL using SSIS
  • Building/Enhancing Tableau Reports.
  • Interacting with Business Users
  • Understanding different Regulatory Reporting scenarios.
  • Follow Agile Methodologies.
  • Providing L3 support for the applications

Requirements

Education - BE/B Tech preferably Computer Science and Engineering or MCA

Certifications If Any- NA

Experience Range – 6- 9 years

Foundational skills

  • Minimum of 7 + years of development, design, performance tuning and data analysis experience using MS SQL Server
  • Considerable good ETL development experience using SSIS
  • Good to have Python development experience.
  • Good development exposure to any of the BI tools (eg. Tableau, Informatics), Tableau preferred.
  • Provide technology solutions, through application designs and development
  • Good experience of finance domain (eg. Trade life cycle, electronic and OTC trading, Regulatory Reporting)
  • Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Quick to learn, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able to work well in a highly motivated environment

  • Knowledge on Trading and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Knowledge on Agile
  • Knowledge on Autosys Scheduler
