Develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications supporting business units or support functions. Participates in design, development, and implementation of front-end engineering activities for Bank of America Authentication Hub. Collaborates with Line of Business on requirement gathering, user acceptance testing and post software release certification. Translates designs and style guides into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, optimized performance, and ADA/WCAG compliance.
Internet Software Engineers are involved in every release, every project, and in all the phases of SDLC like Analysis, Technical Design, Development, Testing and Deployment. Works with various backend systems in the Bank supplying data for authentication and functionalities. Develops original and creative technical solutions meeting scalability, security, quality, and performance standards. Estimates level of effort, evaluates new options of similar technology, offers suggestions to improve processes, and provides comments on design aspects. Reviews product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy.
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
