RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop client relationships and drive coverage opportunities.

  • Analyze sustainability market trends and updates and report on regulatory and disclosure requirements affecting the industry.

  • Build cross-product and cross-sector partnerships and understand sustainability-related geographic nuances to drive differentiated client materials in multiple regions, e.g.

  • LATAM-based client coverage expansion.

  • Prepare meeting materials to help drive client dialogue.

  • Perform peer gap analysis by industry and identity leading case studies.

  • Collaborate with other Bank personnel to represent the Firm when meeting with clients.

  • Build financial models and incorporate sustainability-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify financially material ESG trends.

  • Perform comprehensive, in-depth research on companies, sectors including Industrials, Consumer & Retail and Healthcare, new issue market, general market conditions and institutional investors to drive material creation and client dialogue.

  • Use quantitative and analytical skills including financial statement analysis, global, regional and sectoral research to convey global and regional market trends.

  • Conduct in-depth research at global, regional, and sectoral levels to identify and quantify market trends, such as shifts in industry performance and regional economic growth patterns and presenting actionable insights supported by data analysis.

  • Use Bloomberg to assess financial metrics, relative value analysis, and macro research analysis.

  • Assess regulatory impact on balance sheet and capital metrics to propose relevant structures to clients using financial systems including Rating Agency reports.

  • Analyze the impact of regulatory changes on clients' balance sheets and capital metrics, use financial systems and tools such as Rating Agency reports to identify potential challenges and opportunities, and propose tailored financial structures to optimize capital management strategies.

  • Provide in-depth market insight and elaborate investment ideas based on client’s portfolios to drive strategic initiatives and positive P&L impact based on company and peer analysis.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Finance, Economics or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Performing comprehensive, in-depth research on companies, sectors including Industrials, Consumer & Retail and Healthcare, new issue market, general market conditions and institutional investors to drive material creation and client dialogue;

  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.

  • 10% domestic and international travel required, as necessary.

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$250,000.00 - $250,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
