Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 6  years of extensive IT experience in Data Analysis, Data Analytics, Databases and ETL , with independent project handling experience.

  • Excellent Database skills in Oracle, Teradata, SQL including joins, functions, procedures and query optimization.

  • 5-6 years of experience in Oracle and  Pl/SQL.

  • Designed, developed and managed complex data queries SQL to enhance the  SQL queries performance  for faster data retrieval and processing times.

  • Expertise in Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting with 6+ years of Experience

  • Highly skilled in Informatica power center (ETL tool) that is powerful data integration tool that seamlessly connects and retrieves data from diverse sources with 8+ years of experience in Informatica power center  and experience in IICS (Informatica Intelligence cloud services)

  • Experience in scheduling tools like Autosys

  • Excellent understanding of Business workflow processes, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)

  • Strong experience on automated Deployments process to higher environments using tools like, GIT,  Bit bucket , Ansible , Jenkins and CI/CD.

  • Experience with version control tool Git and Bitbucket.

  • Strong experience in Oracle Mantas AML (Oracle AML Transaction Monitoring) product which is an anti-money laundering solution designed for financial institutions.

  • Strong in-depth end-to-end understanding of Banking, Financial services, Anti Money Laundering

Jersey City, NJ pay range:

$102,900.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
