RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and evaluate hedging solutions and investment products as a part of an equities derivatives structuring team.

  • Develop and expand structured product capabilities to provide a suite of participation, yield enhancement, capital protected and portfolio asset allocation solutions via over-the-counter and securitized products.

  • Support the flow and execution of the existing business, working closely with sales and trading partners on a daily basis.

  • Collaborate with sales, trading and research, and structuring groups to translate trading axes, risk recycling, and research ideas into investment products across multiple asset classes including equity indices, single stocks, hybrids, and multi-asset products.

  • Work with distribution teams to identify solutions for third party distributors, Private Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pensions and Insurance Companies.

  • Assess the pricing and liquidity of equity products including futures and options under different economic conditions to provide practical ideas to clients.

  • Automate manual processes that require large data sets using Python to prepare customized reports.

  • Leverage analytical and mathematical skills and knowledge of financial derivatives products including structured products, hybrids, light exotic payoffs, vanillas, and listed securities to price client requests and develop new products.

  • Develop and implement complex statistical and mathematical models in Python, Matlab, C++, and VBA to optimize financial analysis processes, automate workflows, and enhance predictive accuracy, and improved model precision in financial analytics.

  • Analyze global financial markets developments and creating strategies, financial statements, and detailed financial models, valuation assessment, benchmarking, and comparative analysis to identify potential market opportunities.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computational Finance, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related: and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.

  • Must have 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation. Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

New York pay and benefits information

New York pay range:

$225,000.00 - $235,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
