Position Summary

This Senior BA position will be part of the Wholesale Credit Systems Technology team. The senior BA role is expected to lead deliverables while work closely with product owners and technology partners to develop business and process requirements and design to ensure relevant business objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization).
  • Works with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization.
  • Leverages experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software).
  • Performs Cost/Benefit Analysis to align the technology to business strategy.
  • Gathers & catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
  • Determines the impact of modifications and enhancements on the application.
  • Acts as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions.
  • Ensures changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
  • Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting, and may help configure test solutions to validate functional and system needs. Identifies, document and troubleshoot application related problems.
  • Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications.
  • Leads or participate in continuous improvement efforts; Building expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes. Creates, maintains and presents training materials for end-users. Individual contributor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient with advanced Excel and SQL
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience executing change in an Agile environment.
  • Proficient with eliciting business requirements in user story format, including detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Comfortable with reviewing technical designs, providing feedback and confirmation of alignment to desired capabilities: choosing the appropriate technology and designing a solution that both answers the problem at hand, and stays within constraints.
  • Understanding and support the delivery of solution using different software delivery methodology, from ideation to project conception, to UX, to code, to testing, to deployment, and around again.
  • Own and produce key SDLC deliverables – requirements, configuration specifications, UI wire-frames and data mapping documents.
  • Lead a collaborative engagement model to ensure appropriate teams on business, operations and technology are connected to drive the end-to-end requirements, analysis and design on the committed SDLC deliverables.
  •  Must understand both the business problem and the technical solution to advocate for excellence and effect change when necessary. Must have the finesse to navigate within a large organization to influence big decision makers and win trust using people skills and technology knowledge.
  • Strong experience supporting technical delivery.
  • Deep current commercial credit domain expertise.
  • Experience with initiatives executing change in an Agile Environment.
  • Technical competency as a business or systems analyst with least 5 years of experience in software testing
  •  Proven ability to write good detailed test scripts and execute test scripts on a day-to-day basis.
  • Experience and involvement with the complete Agile software product life-cycle 
  • Ability to write SQL statements for data verification.
  • A team player, self-starter, and quick learner.

Desired Qualifications

•  Experience with SAFE Agile preferred

•  qTest, Microsoft SQL, Excel, PowerPoint
