Role Description:

The SAG Executive position (individual contributor) requires the management of large corporate / syndicated (problem) credit exposures within the classified and criticized portfolio. The exposures are most often to bank clients that are customers of our international Investment Banking and Capital Markets business lines in EMEA and APAC. 

Skills that will help:

  • Corporate workout / commercial loan management experience (large corporate / syndicated credit experience)
  • Ability to manage both internal and external bank participant / client communications and negotiations, hence strong communication and negotiation skills are required
  • Experience in managing syndicated & agented credit transactions with multiple lenders is a pre-requisite for this position
  • Knowledge and experience in cross border insolvencies and business reorganizations
  • Establish effective business partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Corp. & Inv. Banking teams
  • Effective coordination with both internal and external legal counsel
  • Possess strong credit risk management capabilities
  • Collaborative skills which support the execution of viable debt restructuring solutions (including the workout or resolution of problem loans)
  • Effective forecasting and management of portfolio Asset Quality
  • Knowledge and experience in the credit and capital markets is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills are also a pre-requisite
  • Mentor and develop junior team members in deepening their analytical skills and their professional workout experience
  • Sufficient familiarity with ancillary banking products – e.g., treasury services, derivatives, commercial card, and deposits
