Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Position Summary

Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Familiar with development and testing practices of the bank. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors, and triages the underlying cause. Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes. Individual contributor.

Required Qualifications

  • JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Agile methodology, SDLC, STLC, Issues Tracking and Reporting, SCRUM, JIRA reports, release processes, software environments
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary team while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Communicates the target outcomes, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides visibility into the health of the Release Train.
  • Facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Risk and Compliance partners.
  • Coordinates and facilitates the delivery routines across multiple Agile Teams - e.g. kick-off, PI Planning, Scrum routines
  • Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations/projects/programs.
  • Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Strong presentation skills - written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with strong time management, information organization change management skills.
  • Collaborate to conceptualize project plans/ideas with technology team leaders and present to executive decision makers.
  • Ability to incorporate live feedback in meetings.
  • Degree in Communications, Business, Finance or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an IT organization/environment or Finance Industry.
  • Prior technology experience in Agile Management, project management, business analysis or QA testing and/or demonstrated ability to effectively translate technical issues into business terms and deliver the information in a clear, concise way, ensuring the organization makes rapid and informed decisions.
