Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
  • Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications for Advised Affluent Offering also supports business units or supporting functions for Benefits online.
  • Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies, software, hardware and tools.
  • Will assist with offshore coordination with offshore teams and collaborate with other programmers and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the software application.
  • Resource will work with minimal supervision and guidance from more seasoned consultants, and may also be expected to provide application support.
  • .Net application web development required.
  • Ability to work in a Lean-Agile environment a plus.
  • May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
  • Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience required .
  • NET Framework/ASP.NET 4.0/.NET MVC (web forms, web controls, user controls, master pages, script manager)
  • Single Page Application/JS Templating/Client side MVC
  • Consuming ASP.net web services and script services (asmx, wcf)
  • Knowledge of asp.net web services architecture
  • Web GUI development
  • Strong client-side development
  • Strong skills at profiling application both on server-side (MS ACT, ANTS Profiler) and client-side
  • Strong skills at performance application tuning
  • Understands ASP.NET Http pipeline
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Creative thinker and passionate to design and write quality code with attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time with great organizational skills
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and exhibit flexibility to changing business/technical requirements
  • Ability to deliver independently with minimal supervision
  • Motivated self-starter who is looking to learn, evaluate, and leverage new and upcoming technologies
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, software development methodologies, and business domain

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or higher with proficiency in .Net Core, C#, and WCF services. Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming.
  • Expertise in web technologies including ASP.Net, .Net MVC, client-side technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Experience on WebApi.

New Jersey pay range:

$102,900.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
