Job Description:
The Service Asset & Configuration Management analyst will be accountable for operational management of the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Process; plan and coordinate process activities; monitor, analyze and report on process performance; identifying opportunities and making improvements to the SACM process; planning and managing support of SACM Tools; coordinating interfaces between SACM and other ITSM Processes; performing Configuration audits; analyzing and defining the structure of the configuration management system: support activities for the corporate SACM tools architecture; experience in data analysis of large amounts of data.

  • Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow's ITSM, ITOM, modules.
  • Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles
  • Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Netcool, Kafka, etc)
  • Assist with design, creation and cataloging of business process flows.
  • Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee the integration of information into the CMDB from ServiceNow Discovery and APIs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Utilize your experience in creating APIs to establish seamless communication between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Design and implement robust APIs that contribute to efficient data exchange.
Required Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM applications with at least 5+ years of hands on experience.
  • 1 year experience working as a ServiceNow Developer
  • 1 year experience working in the Discovery module of ServiceNow
  • Proficiency with API development (SOAP OR REST)
  • Proficient in core tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methodologies
  • Expertise in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, Angular JS or React JS
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow Flow Designer.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with complex and global projects.
  • Very strong analytical skills.
  • ITIL Foundations certified or higher preferred.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar
