Job Description:

Primary responsibility to obtain and review insurance documentation in accordance with Bank policies and procedures, and to ensure lien perfection. Interfaces with insurance agents, line partners, and clients to ensure world-class documentation accuracy. Maintains primary responsibility for accuracy of insurance documentation and SOR tracking data, timely delivery of documents, and elimination of controllable re-work.  Post funding analysis of insurance requirements, timely processing/resolution of insurance exceptions, and monitoring system of record for upcoming expirations of insurance policies, acting to extend or obtain renewals of the items prior to their expiration. Maintains ticklers on systems of record for these items. Acts to resolve exceptions related to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate Insurance requirement letters and send to client/agent/broker.
  • Receive/Review incoming insurance policies for compliance with bank and federal guidelines.
  • Contact client/agent/broker to resolve items out of compliance.
  • Gives technical advice and guidance to business units and interdisciplinary teams on a project.
  • Maintain systems of record for continued monitoring of insurance.
  • Work in a paperless environment and adhere to compliance guidelines.
  • Professional and positive team player, with ability to promote collaboration, and communicate with impact.
  • Learn and adapt quickly, hold self and others accountable for high performance standards.

Requirements:

  • Must know BOA platform system knowledge (LoanIQ, CTS, EDR, Genesis) or understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships across the organization to ensure efficiency and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Effective prioritization of multiple tasks, balancing quality and productivity.
  • Proficient time management and attention to detail
