Process Overview*

Capacity Management team is responsible to support Midrange infrastructure capacity planning and performance management supporting overall operational goals of managing infrastructure stability, availability and resiliency.

Job Description*

Individual Capacity Management professional will get an opportunity to work on managing Midrange server(Linux/Unix/Windows) capacity infrastructures for  multiple CSWTI applications in an agile environment. Key responsibilities include demand modeling, initiative-based forecasting & planning, production baseline monitoring, server efficiency management​. Tools used are DNT, Splunk(Creating dashboards/writing queries), Dynatrace, OpenShift etc. The candidate should have an understanding of Midrange servers(Linux/Unix/ Windows) capacity infrastructure, Server capacity planning, Server capacity forecasting, Knowledge on APM/Performance Testing, Load Balancing, Capacity Management using Tools like TSCO and Optimizing server usage/performance metrics. AWS/Azure and Containers knowledge is preferred.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, attention to detail, with strong communication & analytical skills.

Responsibilities*

• Provide Capacity Planning Support via Business Initiatives 
• Assess new technologies and Pilots as part of IT Strategic Plans
• Maintaining and Updating Capacity Plan
• Manage capacity thresholds
• Capacity Tuning Recommendations
• Performance testing support
• Routine capacity reporting
• Service level demand Management

Support Performance Management

• Establish Normal Operation Levels
• Periodic Monitoring of Capacity & Performance Behavior
• Trend Analytics

Requirements*

• Education*– Graduation (B Tech, BE, MCA)
• Certifications If Any* - NIL
• Experience Range* –:  6– 9 Years

Foundational Skills*

• DNT,Splunk, Dynatrace,OpenShift,TSCO
• Working experience in Agile methodology and Jira tool
• Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good documentation skills
• Ability to understand Multi-Tier architecture, Midrange servers(Linux/Unix/ Windows) capacity infrastructure ,Network Firewalls, Load-balancers etc

Desired Skills*

• Financial domain knowledge
• AWS and Containers knowledge preferred

Work Timings* – 11.30 AM to 8.30 PM
