
Job Description:
· Enterprise Description: Performs a variety of technical and analytical functions related to trade financing and servicing. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, and resolving trade documents that require specialized, sensitive, and/or exception handling; evaluating acceptances, issuances, amendments, and negotiations for import/export, standby and government letters of credit and bankers acceptances; reviewing, analyzing and negotiating letters of credit documents; issuing commercial and stand-by letters of credit, amendments, transfers and requests to pay; approving payments, collections and reimbursements. Works under established operating procedures and precedents. Requires a full working knowledge of trade finance operations and documentation. Individuals typically have 3-5 years of experience with 1-3 years Trade experience preferred.
Line of Business Description: The role is part of the Global Trade Operations group. The position will work under established operating procedures and precedents. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Performs a variety of technical and analytical functions related to trade financing and servicing
· Researches, analyzes, and resolves trade documents that require specialized, sensitive, and/or exception handling
· Evaluates/processes issuances, amendments, and negotiations for payment on Standby Letters of Credit
· Provides client servicing for Standby Letter of Credit clients
· Provides client servicing and operational support for extended processing teams/sites
· Prepares and reconciling daily and monthly reports; accurate capturing of production volumes.
· Works under established operating procedures and precedents.
· Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.
· Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.
· Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs –is a continuous learner

Required Skills and Experience
· Demonstrated excellent communications and workflow management skills
· Must have prior/current Client servicing experiencing
· General ability to use office applications such as Word, Excel , and PowerPoint
· Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision
· Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) and active listening skills
· Strong mathematic/accounting skills
Desired Skills and Experience
· Experience with letters of credit and familiarity with UCP 600/ISP 98 a plus.
· Knowledge of trade finance operations and documentation highly desired.
Position located on-site in Los Angeles – CA or Scranton - PA
