RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct research and analysis to provide a micro view for risk management of a particular industry and/or sub-industry that can be leveraged by the business line to support macro risk management for the bank.
Apply quantitative knowledge and techniques to produce analysis that address potential (and realized) risk assessment tied to a certain industry and/or product in support of numerus wholesale business lines.
Perform credit risk quantification, financial engineering, quantitative financial modeling, risk management, and/or technical expertise and support.
Develop emerging risk assessments, analyze credit risk scenarios, as well as model some of our key risk factors.
Analyze and evaluate large and complex economic and financial datasets with analytical tools of Python, SQL and R.
Use big data technologies SQL to handle large volumes of data produced by complex financial forecasting models.
Develop data visualization tools using Tableau to analyze and present data in order to support model development of commercial loan loss forecast.
Employ data analytics and visualization tools of Alteryx, Tableau, and Jupyter Notebook to build easy access analytical capabilities and insightful reporting for the management.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative and Computational Finance, or related: and
2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Analyzing and evaluating large and complex economic and financial datasets with analytical tools of Python, SQL and R;
Using big data technologies SQL to handle large volumes of data produced by complex financial forecasting models;
Developing data visualization tools using Tableau to analyze and present data in order to support model development of commercial loan loss forecast; and,
